During two days on June 9 and 10, 2022, within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (PFUE), several young people, representatives of associations, and youth structures (including the Réseau Express Jeunes) participated in the seminar on the participation of young people in the European project “Making Europe live for and with young people”.
This seminar took place at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg and aimed to discuss, in a concrete and pragmatic way, the different ways in which young people can take hold of the European project, through the European Union’s dialogue in favor of youth or through citizen consultations such as the Conference on the Future of Europe.
This seminar allowed to :
– Reflect and strengthen the new forms of participation and inclusion of young people in the European decision-making processes;
– To share experiences on youth participation in the framework of the work of the Conference on the Future of Europe;
– To provide feedback on the 8th round of the EU Youth Dialogue on the European Youth Objective #9 “Spaces and participation for all”.
